Empire State Development (ESD) Division of Minority and Women Business Development has released a brand new website, which includes a new MWBE Certification Self-Assessment Tool at:

This Self-Assessment Tool assists firms in the preliminary steps towards NYS MWBE certification. These questions may be used to perform a self-assessment of the firm as well as to help MWBEs better understand the certification criteria. We suggest directing a MWBE to the Certification Assessment Tool first and prior to applying.
